Reaper Minis: the old switcharoo

I got my Reaper paints today straight from Reaper. Yup, it’s a very quick turnaround for an international order. The reason why it tool 3-4 days instead of 2-3 weeks was that they switched shipping methods on me. So instead of using good old USPS as stated on my bill they went ahead and used FedEx.

That means I’m out an additional $10 due to brokerage fees that never would have had to pay if they had used USPS. So for a $45 paint order, it cost me (in total) $32 dollars in shipping. Needless to say that I fired off an email today (Sept 18th) to Reaper to complain about the shipping company switch. We’ll see what they say.
