About This Site

This site is primarily intended as an information outlet for three of my favorite hobbies: Web programming (not web design) using primarily the Django application framework, Drums and percussion, and miniature wargaming. There will be some content departures and tangents because I think it is healthy to look around and see what is out there from time to time.

About the network

The rimshot network consists of multiple workstations, mail, database, SVN, and web server. All but one workstation and all servers run a *nix variant as their primary operating system.

Site known bugs and usability issues

As with any software release, there are some bugs that need to be ironed out from time to time. The list contains known bugs that require some attention.

• comment submission should go back and display the newly inserted comment.
• an RSS feed should be implemented in the blog
• Graphic design should be improved past the current basic CSS wireframe.
• blog posts should include previous and next navigation links
• the flatpage template page title repeats itself.
